Finding Your Lost PetWhen you lose your pet, the first thing to do is visit our shelter, located just off of 8th Street at 610 Abbott Lane. We are open seven days a week to better help you find your pet. At the shelter, please visit the Lost and Found Room and fill out a Lost Report for your pet. Note that Lost Reports are only kept on file for 10 days; if you do not find your pet, we ask that you renew your form every 10 days for as long as you wish to search. You may also review the Found Reports on file to see if any descriptions match your lost pet. You'll find a free checklist of steps to take in searching for your pet, both at the shelter and in the community; please visit our Finding Your Lost Pet info page for more information. The stray pets database is updated hourly. While we encourage you to use this service to look for your pet, please remember that nothing can substitute for visiting the shelter in person. Some pets' pictures are not put on the website due to a variety of reasons.
