But here are some two-paws-up recipes your furry family members &lt;strong&gt;can&lt;/strong&gt; enjoy while you&amp;#8217;re chowing down on human treats!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Halloween Cat Cookie&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;1/4 cup warm water&lt;br /&gt;5 Tablespoons parmesan cheese&lt;br /&gt;3 Tablespoons soft margarine&lt;br /&gt;1 Tablespoon cod liver oil&lt;br /&gt;1 cup white flour&lt;br /&gt;1/4 cup soy flour&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine water, cheese, margarine and oil. Add flour and form dough. Roll to 1/4 inch thick and cut with small holiday cookie cutters. Whisk together flour, baking powder, pumpkin, peanut butter and cinnamon in a bowl. Add water as needed, but the dough should be stiff and dry. Roll to 1/2 inch thick and cut with holiday cookie cutters. In a separate blow, combine flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon, stirring well. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well. Spoon into greased muffin tins, filling each cup completely and bake for about 1 1/4 hours. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll out to 1/4" thick. Cut shapes out of dough with a cookie cutter and place 1" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes, or until firm. Allow to cool on wire racks.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Notes: Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks OR freeze up to 1 year.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Recipe courtesy of &lt;a href="http://recipes.robbiehaf.com/pets/7.htm"&gt;Robbie&amp;#8217;s Pet Health&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Snickerpoodles&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;1/2 cup vegetable oil &lt;br /&gt;1/2 cup shortening &lt;br /&gt;1 cup honey &lt;br /&gt;2 eggs &lt;br /&gt;3 &amp;frac34; cups white flour &lt;br /&gt;2 teaspoons cream of tartar &lt;br /&gt;1 teaspoon baking soda &lt;br /&gt;&amp;frac12; cup cornmeal &lt;br /&gt;2 teaspoons cinnamon&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Mix vegetable oil, shortening, and honey with eggs. Beat well. Add flour, soda and cream of tartar. Knead dough until mixed well. Shape dough by rounded teaspoons into balls. Mix the cornmeal and cinnamon together in a bowl and roll balls in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Press the balls down with a fork. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 400F. Cool on a rack.
