Working in the Surgery Center, you will be helping watch over and recover animals post-surgery so that the veterinary technicians can continue the process of preparing new animals for surgery without interruption, as well as helping staff maintain a clean, well-stocked, and sanitary environment in the Surgery Center. This is a very important job in terms of helping us increase the volume of surgical procedures we can perform on a given day, and requires an emotionally mature individual that we will train on recovering animals from surgery and administering subcutaneous injections.

Foster Provider
21
Since we shelter more than 8,000 animals a year, space is limited for keeping these animals until they're old enough or well enough for adoption. To meet this need, our Foster Care Program temporarily places these animals in private homes until they may be adopted. This volunteer-based program provides a nurturing environment for animals so they may mature, heal, socialize and become adoptable. (MUST UNDERGO HOME INSPECTION PRIOR TO FOSTERING ANY ANIMALS)
