HSPPR Surgery Center

Our state of the art Surgery Center opened in the summer of 2009.  Since then, we’ve grown substantially and now function seven days per week with two full time veterinarians caring for the homeless animals in our shelter.

By expanding our services to seven days per week, we are now able to ensure that every adopted animal is altered prior to adoption.  We are also able to provide in-house veterinary care for the animals in need here at the shelter.

Recently, we have been able to extend our spay and neuter services to people in our community in need of assistance.  We now have two programs focused on spays and neuters for public clients in financial need to receive high quality spay and neuter services for their pets.

Our hope is that by making spays and neuters more accessible, we will continue to decrease the homeless pet population in our community and save more lives.
