Memorial Gifts

A memorial gift to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is a thoughtful way to express sympathy for the loss of a special person or pet.  Not only does this thoughtful gift express your love and concern, but it will also help fulfill our mission of a compassionate society where animals are cared for and valued.

 

In Memory of a Loved One
When we receive donations in memory of a special person, we will send notification of your gift to the family (gift amount is confidential). Click here to make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one.

In Memory of a Pet
For pet memorials, we will send a pet sympathy card to the owners, notifying them of your gift (gift amount is confidential). Gifts of $25 or more are eligible for pet photo and description on the Virtual Pet Memorial page. Click here to make a donation in memory of a pet.

 

Virtual Pet Memorial
When you make a donation of $25 or more in memory of a pet, we will post a photo and personalized description of your pet on our Virtual Memorial page. You will be asked to provide a photo and text, which will be on the Virtual Memorial page for one year. Click here to make a donation in memory of a pet.

Memorial Tiles

These beautiful, engraved sandstone edging tiles are available in two sizes:

• The 12" x 6" tile is priced at $120.00 and allows for two lines of inscription.
  
  
  
• The 12" x 12" tile is priced at $300.00 and allows for five lines of inscription.
  
  

Tiles are installed along the entrance walkways and front lawn of the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, or may be taken home for your personal use.

Faithful Friends Memorial Garden 

Located on the grounds of the Humane Society, the pet memorial garden serves as a beautiful resting place for beloved pets, as well as a fitting tribute to these loyal companions.

Within the Faithful Friends Memorial Garden, citizens have the option of scattering the ashes of their pet, or having the ashes interred in a sealed container.  An attractive plaque accompanies the burial option, while a granite inscription is offered when ashes are scattered.  Pre-planning is available for pet owners who wish to make arrangements before the loss of a pet. 

Euthanasia and cremation services are also offered by the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
