Workplace Giving
Many employers participate in special workplace giving campaigns that offer their employees the opportunity to donate to charity through a payroll deduction program. Payroll deduction is an easy way to make an impact on the causes you care about without incurring a one-time financial hit. Participation is simple! By setting up a donation directly from your paycheck, you can distribute your gift over the course of a year. In one year, you can give $300.00 with a gift of just $25.00 a month!
Charitable Giving Campaigns
Pueblo Animal Services currently benefits from the generosity of two charitable giving campaigns - United Way and Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).
Pikes Peak United Way and many other United Ways will now accept contributions in support of non-United Way member agencies, such as Pueblo Animal Services. To participate, simply designate the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region on your United Way pledge form.
Once a year, federal workers at local military, postal service and correctional facilities can participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) designation campaign. The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, of which Pueblo Animal Services is a part, is one of many agencies participating in the CFC. If you are a federal employee participating in the Pikes Peak Region or Metro Denver CFC, please consider supporting Pueblo Animal Services. Our special CFC code is 23482. To make your CFC gift online, please visit www.cfcnexus.org
For further questions, contact your Human Resources department for information on how to participate in charitable giving campaigns via payroll deduction. Does your employer match gifts? If so, you may be able to increase the impact of your donations even further with employer matching gifts.
