Every year, nearly 8,000 animals pass through the doors of Pueblo Animal Services.

These are animals surrendered by their families, lost pets, injured strays and abused animals who have lived a life of neglect. With your support, we can continue our mission: a compassionate society where animals are cared for and valued.

Low Cost Spay/Neuter



Pueblo Animal Services frequently receives grant funding and donations to further assist local low income families with the cost of spay and neuter services through the Colorado Pet Overpopulation Fund (CPOF).  
Space is limited and income qualification must be met.

Hours of Operation

Pet Adoptions and Reclaims:

Mon - Fri, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(adoption visitations end at 4:30)

Sat & Sun, 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
(adoption visitations end at 4:00)

Lost a pet? Come look through our kennels daily starting at 12:00 p.m.

Animal Intakes:

Mon - Fri, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Sat & Sun, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
