Support Animals in Need
During a Natural Disaster
Thank you to the firefighters and rescue teams for keeping people and their furry family members safe during the Black Forest Fire and thank you for your generous support of Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region's disaster response. HSPPR cared for more than 1,200 animals during the Black Forest Fire, far exceeding the Waldo Canyon Fire in 2012. And our work isn't done. We stand ready to help the next time disaster strikes, but we rely on donations to be able to continue these extraordinary efforts.
HSPPR provides extraordinary services to families and their animals during natural disasters, but we need your support to provide this help! HSPPR may open additional, temporary shelters for evacuated pets, providing food, veterinary care and other vital services to traumatized and vulnerable animals. Our Animal Law Enforcement team may rescues pets from dangerous or evacuated areas. Our surgery center is on call to aid with emergency medical procedures. The costs for these extra resources and extended efforts can be immense, but your donation allows our Community Animal Response Team to save more animal lives!
Matching Gift Program: Your employer may match your donation. Click here to learn more and see if your company participates.
