Donate
You can make a difference for animals right here in your community. As an independent, local nonprofit, HSPPR doesn’t receive donations from national humane societies or animal welfare groups. That’s why we need you!
And you can rest assured your donation is going to an organization awarded Charity Navigator’s Four Star designation and GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency.

DONATIONS DURING COVID-19
For the health and safety of our community, we are limiting foot traffic into our facilities, which means we are no longer accepting in-kind donations. However, we still rely on donations to keep our life-saving programs up and running. If you’d like to contribute, you can donate online or purchase items from our Amazon Wish List to be shipped directly to us. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Donor Privacy Policy
The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is able to pursue its mission of a compassionate community where animals and people are cared for and valued thanks to the generosity of donors. Because we are entrusted with the responsibility to be good stewards of the gifts we receive and to follow non-profit best practices, we adhere to a donor privacy policy. The guidelines listed below help HSPPR staff and volunteers understand how they may or may not use donor information.
HSPPR provides this Donor Privacy Policy to make you aware of our privacy policy, and to inform you of the way your information is used. We also provide you with the opportunity to remove your name from our mailing list, if you desire to do so.
HSPPR collects and uses personal information from donors that includes: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and donor comments when a donor voluntarily provides it to us. In addition, HSPPR keeps a record of each donor’s giving history. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used in our development process to generate future mailing lists and analyze overall giving patterns in order to make accurate budget projections.
HSPPR will use your information to issue receipts, send thank you cards, internal analysis and record keeping, and inform donors about news, upcoming fundraising events and other activities. Credit card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing and are not retained for other purposes. We use the comments you offer to provide you with information requested, and we take seriously each recommendation as to how we might improve communication.
HSPPR will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to other organizations, to include donor’s name, address, telephone number, or email address. When publicly recognizing donors, we will ensure confidentiality—when requested by the donor.
It is our desire to not send unwanted mail to our donors. Please contact us at 719.302.8743 or email us at [email protected] if you wish to be removed from our mailing list.
