To license your animal please visit the City of Centennial Municipal Building located at: 13133 E. Arapahoe Rd. Centennial, CO 80112 during regular business hours (ensure you bring proof of vaccination and spay/neuter), or download the Animal License Form, complete the form, enclose a check or money order for the correct amount, and mail/deliver to the City of Centennial. Your license application will be processed and your tag will be mailed in 3-6 weeks.

What does my animal license pay for?

  • Reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners.  Every attempt is made to return licensed dogs and cats home prior to be transported to the shelter.
  • Educate animal owners about Responsible Pet Ownership
  • Enforce animal neglect and cruelty, aggressive animal, and other local and state ordinances.
  • Help neighbors resolve their animal related conflicts
  • Provide shelter, food, and other essential care for lost, abandoned, and stray animals
