Queensland heel Mix
Blue tick and Red tick
I am a spayed female, blue ticked and red ticked Queensland Heeler mix. Luna has spent the last month in foster care working on her confidence. The shelter has proved to be too stressful for her, so she is staying in foster care to find her fur-ever family. She is doing this with the help of her foster family! Here's what they have to say about her: Luna is a very sweet dog who does tend to be a bit shy and timid at times such as when she's meeting new people outside of her home. She is ok with children however she would probably do best in a quiet, peaceful house without a lot of loud noises. Luna loves taking walks, playing ball and exploring outside!! She also loves car rides!! She does ok when meeting new dogs however if they come into her territory she can be a bit bossy (barking and nipping at them), so a proper introduction will be important. She doesn't seem to chew on anything she's not supposed to however she does enjoy knocking over garbage cans when she is home alone. Luna might need some extra time to get to know a new cat however once she is used to the cat she does fine. Overall Luna is an awesome dog who has so much love to give!! She is smart and adorable and very loyal to her personPlease contact Luna's foster mom, Ellen, at [email protected] to set up a visit or inquire about Luna. Please allow up to 24 hours for Ellen to respond.
We do our best to update our adoptable pet listing as quickly as possible. However, there may be times when an animal is not at the shelter. Thank you for your understanding!
