In addition to providing state-of-the-art veterinary care for the thousands of homeless and abused animals in need here at our shelter, including emergency life-saving surgeries, spays/neuters, and dental work, Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region also offers certain services to public.
Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is proud to offer a donor-subsidized spay/neuter program for qualified pet owners. Through this program, we hope to help decrease pet overpopulation in our community and save more lives.
If you are interested in getting your dog spay/neutered, you must qualify for this program based on your income or participation in select government programs. Income qualification is NOT required for cats or for certain breeds of dogs, including: American Pit Bull Terriers, Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, English Bulldogs and French Bulldogs.
