Before registering, please read the following information:

  • Our camps run Monday through Friday, 9am-3pm. Campers must bring their own lunch and snacks.
  • Due to the increase in popularity of Camp Whiskers & Wags, you may only sign your child or children up for one week of camp. This enables us to give more children an opportunity to participate in our program, especially this year with a smaller registration cap due to COVID-19 restrictions. If we still have camp openings in mid-April, we will send out an email allowing you to sign up for multiple weeks.
  • If you would like to apply for a scholarship for your camp registration, please do so before you register your child for a week of camp. We award scholarships based on need as well as home zip code and although we can’t cover the full cost of camp, we can significantly reduce the cost. If you get approved for a scholarship, you will get a discount code that you can apply when registering to reduce the cost of the program. For more information and to apply, visit and allow 2 business days for a response.
  • Due to state COVID-19 guidelines, we can only offer camp if El Paso County is in level Yellow (Concern), Blue (Caution), or Green (Protect Our Neighbors) on the dial framework. If we are in level Orange (High Risk), Red (Severe Risk), or Purple (Extreme Risk) we will most likely have to cancel certain weeks of camp. If this happens, we will offer full refunds and give you as much advanced notice as possible so you can find other childcare, if needed.
  • Due to COVID-19, campers will be required to wear masks whenever and wherever possible. Campers must bring their own mask or, if the camper forgets or loses their mask, they will be given a disposable one. Campers will implement social distancing at all times and to the greatest degree, wherever and whenever possible. Campers will also be given their own designated space for their belonging as well as their own designated space in the classroom. Campers and/or family members might also be asked to complete a health check while checking into/out of camp including but not limited to a temperature check, health screening questions, and other screening measures. Campers will not be allowed to attend camp if they have contracted COVID-19 within 10 days of any registered camp date, are showing symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 within 10 days of any registered camp date. To read our full COVID-19 policies, please click here.
  • With our registration software, please keep in mind:
    • We are now asking for more info in the digital registration form that we used to collect in our paper registration packets. Having this information in digital form, allows us to access it quicker in emergency situations and will help us streamline the process on our end. So you will need:
      • Your child’s or children’s medical info including allergies, medications, and/or other medical history info.
      • Your child’s or children’s doctor’s contact info
      • Your child’s or children’s dentist’s contact info
      • Hospital of choice
      • Emergency contact info
      • Contact info for people you approve to pick up your child

*You will be able to edit this info later if needed*

    • We highly encourage you to create an account on our registration platform. All it requires is your email and for you to create a password. By doing this, it will save all of the info you have entered and autofill the fields for your other children that you register and/or if you register for camp in the future.

Thank you and we’re looking forward to another great camp season! Please contact Tom Schermerhorn at [email protected] or 719-302-8739 if you have any questions
