Onyx is a sweet, shy kitty who needs time to feel safe and comfortable. He feels most at ease around women and prefers quiet spaces where he can relax at his own pace. Once he’s settled, he shows his gentle, affectionate side. With patience and a calm home, Onyx will slowly come out of his shell and become a loving companion.

Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters.
A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner.
For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption.
After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and finalize the adoption.
