In-Kind Donations

Help Feed Local Pets in Need

Right now, many families in our community are struggling to put food on the table, and that includes food for their pets. No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their best friend. As a Colorado Pet Pantry partner, HSPPR provides pet food to community members in need, but our donations are running low, and we need your help to keep bowls full.

What’s Needed:

Dry or wet dog and cat food (any brand, any size) that is unopened and unexpired (per state rules).

How to Help:

Drop off food donations at our Adoptions or Admissions offices at our Colorado Springs or Pueblo shelters.

Your kindness keeps pets fed and families together. Thank you for helping your neighbors and their furry loved ones through tough times.

Toys, treats, and supplies needed

Thank you for thinking of the animals in our care! HSPPR appreciates our community’s willingness to donate new or gently used items, but we kindly request only items from the list below. Items brought to us that are not on this list may be turned away or disposed of. While we wish we could accept all donations, we do not have the space or resources for items that we cannot utilize to their full potential.
