LOCATED IN PUEBLO
**Meet Stovepipe, a sweet female kitten with a gentle and loving personality. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate and playful side shines through.

Stovepipe loves crinkly balls, plushy cat toys, playing with her littermates, and taking long cozy naps. She has a calm energy about her and enjoys being close to her people once she settles in.

She has a healthy appetite, is litter box trained, and is ready to find a loving home of her own. Stovepipe will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family!**

I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by mid-late May*.

You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.

Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!

Scam Alert

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region has experienced a scam in which people missing their pets receive phone calls from someone pretending to represent our shelter and requesting payment over the phone. Please be aware that HSPPR will never request payment over the phone or through Venmo before returning your pet. We will also never ask you to send verification codes or mention anything about pet trackers on Instagram, WhatsApp, or other messaging platforms. If you receive a suspicious call, do not share any personal information. Instead, visit our Admissions office and speak with a staff member in person to verify any claims.

Woof, we’re having technical difficulties!

Unfortunately we can’t display our adoptable pets right now due to a technical issue. Don’t worry – all our furry friends are safe and waiting to meet you at the shelter! Please visit us in person to find your perfect match.
