**Hello, my name is Phineas, but you can call me Phin! Mama says I’m a bottomless pit, but hey, do you know how good this food is? I love to play and chase toys and wrestle with my brothers. I will stop for some snuggles now and then, but I’m pretty independent. I will always try to ask for more food, but I will go about my play when I realize I’m not getting any more. I recently discovered a tunnel which is a lot of fun, and I like toys that I can chase. I will have long hair, so I’m learning about being brushed. It’s not too bad. If you’d like a kitty that can snuggle but also play alone, and you don’t mind taking care of my pretty fur, I might be the boy for you!**
I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *early June.*
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
