I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by mid-late June*.
Meet Olive — a fluffy little climber with a huge personality and adorable Maine Coon-style ear tufts. This playful, energetic kitten loves scaling cat trees, launching onto shoulders, and finding the highest perch in the room to supervise everything. Affectionate in her own hilarious way, Olive always wants to be close to her people, though she’s also the most “nibbly” of the bunch and tends to treat hands and arms like jungle gyms during playtime. Beneath all the chaos is an incredibly soft, curious, confident kitten who will thrive with someone ready to embrace her spirited antics and help guide her as she grows.
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
