I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by mid-late June*.
Meet Mykonos — a sweet, affectionate kitten who absolutely loves attention and being close to his people. He’s happiest curled up in your lap getting scratches behind the ears, and he’s so trusting he’ll happily let you hold him on his back while you rub his cheeks, pet his ears, and give him kisses on his belly. While he has a calm, loving side, Mykonos is also starting to show a burst of playful energy and now spends plenty of time zooming around and trying to explore everything in sight. With his affectionate personality and growing confidence, he’s the perfect mix of cuddly and fun.
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
