*Cholula is a thoughtful observer. She prefers to take her time, quietly watching the world around her before deciding to join in. While she may be a bit of a wallflower at first, her gentle and sweet nature shines through once she feels comfortable. One of the quickest ways to win her heart is with a good butt pat, which she absolutely adores. For someone who appreciates a kitten with a softer, more contemplative personality, Cholula will be a wonderfully rewarding companion. I’m sure she will continue to blossom in her new home.*
I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by the end of June*.
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
