Joey is a sweet, gentle boy who may be a little shy at first, but he’s making wonderful progress and learning to trust his people. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys pets, purrs loudly, and is even happy to snuggle in your lap or be held. He’s curious and playful, especially with feline friends, and would thrive with a patient adopter who will give him time to settle in and let his affectionate personality shine.
Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters.
A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner.
For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption.
After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and finalize the adoption.
