I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by early September*. Per Millie’s foster: “Believe her to have Russian blue in her. One sister is a tabby and she has ghost stripes but all other characteristics including a double coat and personality matches that of a Russian blue. She has been around well behaved dogs and older male cats and will do fine if given space. Gets very attached to one particular human and if you are the person who will feed her, you will be her BFF!”
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
