Blueberry is an absolute delight! This sweet girl purrs like a little motor and clearly loves all the affection she can get. Just watch her with her toys—she bats them around with so much enthusiasm and has a blast with anything that dangles! Climbing and pouncing are her favorite activities, making her a playful little bundle of joy with an endless supply of energy. She came to us with a tiny boo-boo on her nose, but it’s healing beautifully and only adds to her irresistible charm. You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
