Meet Patches! This sweet boy is all about his people and would happily spend 24/7 by your side. He’s an absolute purr machine and loves soaking up attention. Patches is also very playful and has plenty of personality—he’s quite the talker and isn’t shy about letting you know when he has an opinion!
Patches can get a little distracted during mealtime, so he does best with someone who can keep an eye on him while he eats and remind him that his food isn’t going anywhere.

I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by early October.*
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
