Eddie is a sweet and playful little guy who loves to explore and turn just about anything into an adventure! He’s always ready to chase after a thrown ball or bravely take on his greatest opponent—the all-too-intimidating toilet paper roll.
Eddie has spent time around both dogs and cats and has shown minimal reaction to them. When he isn’t busy exploring or defeating household objects, he is a sweet little boy who enjoys being around his people.
With his playful spirit, curious personality, and sweet nature, Eddie will make a wonderful companion for a loving family!
I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by early October.*
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
