Toby is a senior boy who is potty trained and enjoys spending time with his people. He can be protective of his person and previously snapped at a child who approached while he was sitting on his owner’s lap. Toby may also growl or bark if startled while sleeping, so his new family should give him space while resting. He has never lived with other animals and can be selective with dogs, so slow and thoughtful introductions to other dogs will be important, and his history with cats is unknown. Toby is not crate trained and may bark or whine when left alone due. He will benefit from a patient family who understands his boundaries and gives him plenty of time to settle into his new home.
