Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the Aspen Acres Fire. Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is actively monitoring the situation and coordinating with emergency management and public safety partners to support animals affected by the fire.

How You Can Help
Donations to assist evacuees can be dropped off at Pueblo County Recreation Center | 719.583.2960
- Bottled water
- Commercial prepackaged food items, not expired and non-dented cans
- Sealed food items
- Shelf-stable food items
- Diapers, commercial and shelf-stable formula, new bottles
- Cat food, not expired and unopened (dog food not needed at this time)
- Sheets, towels, and blankets for pet care
Donations for livestock can be dropped at State Fair Grounds (gate 7, Small Ave. entrance) | 719.251.0245
- Grass hay
- All flock feed for chickens, ducks, and turkeys
Volunteer Support
At this time, we are not requesting spontaneous volunteers. If additional volunteer support is needed, opportunities will be posted here and shared through our social media channels.
