**Ebony is a fun and loving kitten – while she was very shy initially, she quickly warmed up and is now very fond of her humans. She is active and loves to play, both with toys and with her people, is curious, and begins purring when the petting begins. When one enters the room she is in, Ebony comes trotting out from wherever she is to greet her person, hoping for some loving attention. She is going to make a fun pet!**
I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by late June.*
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
