**Violet is ready to find a loving new home. She is very active and loves to play, and she’s a joy to watch as she bounces around like a little firecracker. Violet enjoys long petting sessions and will happily flop down beside you to encourage more cheek and face rubs.
She can be shy at first and may startle easily in new situations, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate personality shines through. Violet is a true love bug who enjoys spending time with her people.**
I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by mid June.*
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
