I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by mid July*.
Alphabet Soup is a powerhouse of energy. She loves to run and play chase with our much larger cats. Her energy truly seems endless and she would love to be part of an active family. If you do manage to wear her out, Soup is also a world class cuddler and sleeps great all night in the bed. She likes toys of all types, but in particular soft ones she can fight with. It takes very little to get her purring, sometimes even just a look will do it, and she is somehow incredibly loud about it despite being so small.
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
