Aloha, I’m Lilo. I’m an adventurous and sweet girl with soulful light eyes. I love to run and explore, but I also enjoy snuggling and napping and giving puppy kisses. Although I’m exploring the world with my mouth and my puppy teeth, I am easily redirected to a toy. I’m already learning to potty outside after I wake up from a nap or after I eat, so I think I’ll pick up training quickly with consistency. Im looking for an ohana that is patient, active, and loving. Could it be you?
I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by early August.*
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
