Meet Mr. Skittles! This incredibly sweet boy is as affectionate as they come. He loves getting pets, purrs up a storm, and will practically melt into you when he’s getting attention.
But don’t let his cuddly side fool you—Mr. Skittles is also very playful! He can spend a good 15 minutes zooming around and having the time of his life before finally running out of steam. Once he’s worn himself out, he’ll come find you, climb right into your lap, and promptly pass out.

You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
