I am not currently at the shelter because I’m helping my kittens grow big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by early November*. My name is Whitney, named after the one of the greatest and most influential vocalists in music history. I just raised 6 kittens and I’m ready to be pampered in my new home. I was a young mother but I was very attentive and loving. Now, I enjoy my cat toys, cuddles with my human, and long naps (no judgement after 6 kittens I need a nap!). Cheek scratches, head butts, loud purrs and enjoying treats are also part of my daily routine. If you want a fun and precious cuddle bug I’m your girl.
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am ready to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
