Meet Pepper, a sweet little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart!
When Pepper first arrived in his foster home, he was a little shy, but it didn’t take long for him to warm up to everyone in the family! Since then, he’s blossomed in size, strength, and confidence, showing off his playful, curious, and easygoing personality.
Pepper loves exploring his surroundings, playing, and soaking up attention from his favorite humans. Give him a few gentle pets, and you’ll be rewarded with his happy little purrs! He’s the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection.
Pepper has come such a long way during his time in foster care, and now he’s ready for his next big adventure: finding a forever family to call his own! Whoever welcomes this wonderful little guy into their home is sure to be one lucky family!
I am not currently at the shelter because I’m growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by mid November*.
You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.
Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
