Chuke is a shy boy that is going to need time to adjust to his new home and a patient family that is going to give him the space he needs to adjust and approach at his own pace. He is going to need guidance with potty and crate training and walking on leash. He has lived with other small dogs. He has not lived with children and would do best in a mature home.

Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters.
A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner.
For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption.
After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and finalize the adoption.
