Do you need to practice your reading? Our animals are here to help! Come to HSPPR to read to the animals waiting for a new home. The furry friends here will never judge your reading skills, and you’re helping them through socialization and spending time around kids and teens. While you’re here, we’ll give you a brief tour of our Adoption Center and teach you a little bit about animal behavior to keep you and the animals safe while you read. Each session is an hour long and requires advance registration, including a signed waiver.

We’re sorry, but we are unable to offer refunds or transfers if you can’t attend your scheduled date.
