Winnie may be shy at first, but she’s come a long way and is learning to trust. Once she feels safe, she’s curious, lively, and very loving. She enjoys being close to her people and thrives in a calm, patient environment. She gets along with other dogs but also loves being the center of attention with her person. Winnie is crate and potty trained. Winnie is playful and energetic. She loves toys—and like many terriers, she may “borrow” things like shoes or remotes for fun. She’ll do best with plenty of toys and activities to keep her busy. She also loves to go for walks. Winnie would do best with a patient family who will give her time to build trust and is needing a mature houshold without children. She enjoys other dogs but likes to be in charge, especially at mealtime, so feeding her separately is needed. She is curious about cats.
