Meet Kookaburra! This sweet girl has had a rough start in life, but she’s ready for a fresh beginning with a loving, patient family. She’ll thrive in a home that can help her build confidence through positive socialization and gentle training. With proper nutrition and good hygiene, her skin is expected to continue improving. Kookaburra is still learning the basics, so she’ll need guidance with leash walking, potty training, and crate training. Since her history with children and other animals is unknown, slow, thoughtful introductions will help set her up for success.

Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters.
A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner.
For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption.
After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and finalize the adoption.
